Stephen Cardinale is a commercial and editorial photographer based in Denver, Colorado.

Working across portraiture and visual reportage, Stephen creates subtle and refined brand narratives that focus on the workforce, their environments, and the quiet moments between shifts – always maintaining his authentic documentary style on both commercial and editorial projects.

Stephen loves a small crew, working with real talent, and creating images that punch above their weight. He lives for pre-pro and shows up on the day ready for anything.

A New Yorker and first-generation American to Italian parents, Stephen spends his spare time reading textbooks on the native grapes of Italy, running 10-minute miles and doing whatever it takes to get a belly laugh out of his son Otto.
